Pact Group celebrates Industry Innovation – The humble milk crate transformed into art!

The inventor of the modern milk crate, Geoff Milton, was profiled in the Sydney Morning Herald today after the City of Sydney announced its plan to build a 13.7 metre milk crate structure in Belmore Park.
Milton who worked for Dairy Farmers in the 1950’s and 1960’s came up with the idea for the modern plastic crate for transporting cartons and bottles to replace the traditional timber and wire mesh crates. To manufacture the newly designed plastic crate, Milton engaged Pact Group licensor Nally.
Pact Group subsidiary, Viscount now manufactures, under license from Nally, a diverse range of crates and totes designed to service the materials handling requirements of customers throughout Australasia.
